Valerian: Recommended Usage
Take one or two tablets per day about one hour before retiring to bed for the night.Pregnant or lactating women should consult their doctor before taking this or any other supplement.

Side Effects and Drug Interactions:
There are no dangerous side-effects at the recommended dosage or even at much higher dosages.It is safe to take Valerian alongside other herbs such as St. John's Wort if you are depressed or Kava if you are suffering from anxiety.
Benzodiazepines such as Valium and Xanax often cause grogginess the morning after which can impair your ability to drive or perform tasks that require concentration. Valerian has neither of these unwelcome and potentially dangerous side effects.
