Scientists have identified nearly 100 active ingredients within the Aloe Vera plant of which 75 have been found to be active healing compounds. It is the synergy of the chemical constituents that makes the plant such an effective healer.This explains the significant benefits of juice extracted from the whole leaf compared to juice extracted solely from the aloe gel. Whole leaf aloe juice provides all the active ingredients found in the leaf of the plant, and it is the way that all these compounds work together that provides the benefit.
Aloe Vera juice contains a class of long-chain sugars called polysaccharides (or MPS). Polysaccharides are normally found in all cells of your body. However your body stops producing MPS around the age of 10, after which your body relies completely on outside sources for these vital compounds.
Polysaccharides help boost the immune system, lubricate joints and line the colon. Aloe Vera is especially rich in acemannan. This is a polysaccharide that research has proven to stimulate the body's macrophages to produce interferon and interleukin, which stop viruses multiplying. Macrophages are the deep cleansers of the immune system that can destroy small particles such as toxic chemicals and tumors.

- How much Aloin is in your Aloe ? Aloin is the bitter yellow Aloe latex, a laxative which can cause cramps and diarrhoea. Our Aloe is regularly tested and has a very low Aloin content - only 5ppm. We know of some juices with more than 10 times that amount of Aloin. Some try to cover the bitterness by adding sweeteners.

Old methods of extraction (using patents over 30 years old) concentrate only on the Aloe Vera gel found in the middle of the leaf. They do not use the whole leaf because it is difficult to prevent contamination with Aloe Latex. Aloe Latex is a yellow extract from the inner leaf of the plant that acts as a laxative and can cause severe cramps and diarrhoea.
The very latest patented processing methods allow the whole Aloe Vera leaf to be processed without Aloe Latex contamination. Recommended Dosage
We recommend you take 25ml of Aloe Vera Juice once a day.
